Daysy Hill Country Cottages is a great base from which to explore the rugged coastline and shipwreck history, to relax or simply be re-inspired by the beauty and the peacefulness of a quiet country setting.

Port Campbell is situated at the heart of the internationally renowned attractions of the Great Ocean Road. The township has a backdrop of large limestone cliff faces in colours of bright reds from basalt soil to yellows and shades of brown, with pounding waves well known for excellent reef surfing. All of this melts into a peaceful bay which is a safe haven for the local crayfishing boats, swimmers and the ever popular surf club.

We recommend spending at least a few days with us to fully experience and appreciate what this amazing region has to offer.

The Great Ocean Walk

We are situated at the end of this spectacular eight-day, one direction walk of approximately 110km from Apollo Bay through the Great Otway and Port Campbell National Parks to the Twelve Apostles near Port Campbell.

Doggie Date

If you are travelling with your pet, you may be looking for the perfect way to explore, exercise and indulge with your pup by your side.

Ride With Us offer half day or full day bike hire and you can take your pet along for the ride with a pull along or doggy seat. The Hamper Package will make your day an adventure for the whole family amd don’t forget to pick up some Doggie Ice Cream from Timboon Fine Ice Cream.

Family Fun

Daysy Hill is a great place for families to relax, spread out and enjoy with all the creature comforts of home. We have 5 acres of gardens to explore. Say hello to our sheep, friendly chooks and feed our native fish, Australian Bass and Silver Perch.

Enjoy a BBQ outdoors and toast a marshmallow around the fire pit under the starlit sky. Grab your favourite snacks and go for a short walk up the hill and enjoy a Picnic in the Paddock.

We have a selection of magnificent golf courses all within an hours drive of Daysy Hill Country Cottages.

Our closest clubs at Timboon and Peterborough, both within 15 minutes drive, offer a perfect weekend away enjoying country and coast courses, leaving plenty of time to escape, relax and explore. Consider staying a little longer, personalise your golf experience and take the time to have a hit at a few more courses.
